Cape Town is the legislative capital of South Africa. The city was founded by the Dutch in 1625. First, the name of this city is Kaapstad, which was originally used as warehouses or Dutch stopover during a voyage to Indonesia. However, in 1806 the city was taken over by the British, so the name was changed to Cape Town until now. Cape Town is known as the most beautiful city on the African continent or the so-called dark continent.
