Since centuries ago in the land of Java, batik is an expression rooted in mythology, philosophy, and the symbols surrounding the life cycle. From China and India come the influence of Hinduism and Buddhism, while the Arabs and Persians came from Islamic nuances. Wuryaningrat, grandson of Pakubuwono IX, and the daughter of the king of Surakarta I. The building was founded in 1890. (6) Building Mangunsuka Sasana which contains a collection of batik Danar Hadi ever featured in fashion shows.
